Mission & Vision Statement

Mission: The Encore Performing Arts Foundation is dedicated to offering financial aid for dance and education to the members of Encore.

Vision: We envision a future where every family can access a high-quality dance and education program, allowing their children to cultivate a love for the arts and education without being hindered by financial limitations.

Meeting Schedule

The board meets the second Saturday of every month at 1pm at Encore. Please see the foundation Facebook page for up-to-date information regarding meetings (some meetings are rescheduled due to dance commitments, weather, venue availability, etc.)

Scholarships

Purpose 

The purpose of the Encore Performing Arts Foundation is to remove financial barriers for both recreational and competitive dance in our local community by providing financial assistance to programs & students at Encore. Financial assistance to students is provided yearly or quarterly via scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded to individual students who demonstrate both a strong work ethic in and out of the studio and have a need for financial assistance.  

Eligibility 

To be eligible for a general scholarship from the Encore Performing Arts Foundation, students must be enrolled in any after school program or academic program at Encore. Verification of enrollment will be done by the Board working in conjunction with the administrative staff at Encore. 

Award Process

Application: To apply, please fill out the following standard application form. If you are unable to complete this online form a copy of the application and supporting materials should be sent to the Encore Performing Arts Foundation office at: Encore Dance Studio, 737 E Harbor Drive, Warrenton, OR 97146. Applications may also be emailed to getyoudancing@gmail.com with the subject “EPAF Scholarship Application”.

Application Deadline: Applications for the Encore Performing Arts Foundation General Scholarship are available anytime for submission. Scholarships will be awarded quarterly (January-March, April-June, July-September & September-December) or yearly (September-June) based on individual request and available funds.

Award Distribution:  Recipients will be announced at the beginning of each quarter. Funds awarded are for use during the next quarter.  

Amount: The Encore Performing Arts Foundation is awarding scholarships based on need and funds available. This will be determined and announced when the recipients are notified.   

Fundraisers

February - Parents Night Out - Parents can drop their kiddos off at Encore to enjoy food, movies, games, dancing and open gym playtime.

June - Encore Recital - There is a silent auction where proceeds benefit both Encore Academy Scholarship Fund as well as Encore Performing Arts Foundation. (There will also be a new idea added this year - Stay tuned for more details!)

August - Encore Open House - Families can come check out all the facilities and options available at Encore as well as enjoy local craft vendors, food trucks, a bounce house and more!

December - Encore Christmas Show (@Liberty Theatre) - This show is a fundraiser for the Foundation and donations are accepted at the door. (There will also be a new addition to this fundraiser!)
